Suspiro de esquina
This piece represents a manifestation of wonder. You can see outside churches and streets people begging with their hands outstretched, their rags protruding, hiding their bodies from the cold. When one stops, they can feel that time also stops. It is then when one realizes that everything boils down to a simple and agonizing sigh.
They sigh through their nostrils for what they are and what they once were, and what they could have been, always on the corners. And people just sigh, wishing not to live the reality that others are already living two streets away from their homes.
