Mía

MÍA is a sculptural poem to love. It represents the senses awakened by a hug, a kiss, a penetration, or the feeling of possession. It is the endless thirst and obsession towards a person.

This work conveys possession, whether it is a family member, a partner, a child, or those around you; someone you have loved so much that now you have a part of them.

We find the masculine duality that expresses love by gripping and clinging without limits.

In contrast, the feminine part expresses love with surrender and trust. This duality can be awake in both men and women.

The truth is that we have always played both roles. Those who traverse this world and know what it is to experience love are intimately connected with both poles.
